This nine-lesson course explores how trauma and chronic stress shape the nervous system, helping you understand your responses with greater awareness and less self-judgement.
Through trauma-informed teaching and gentle somatic practices, you will explore nervous system states, triggers and trauma memory, safety, resourcing, boundaries, capacity and choice. Rather than trying to change or override your responses, you will learn to recognise what your body is communicating and discover ways of supporting it that feel appropriate for you.
Across the course, you will begin to understand why certain patterns develop, identify what genuinely helps your nervous system, and build a more compassionate relationship with your body's signals. The final lessons bring these ideas into everyday life, supporting greater awareness, flexibility and self-trust.
This course is intended for education, reflection and supportive somatic practice and is not a replacement for medical, psychological or trauma therapy.
